Hackathon Bounty: Leverage Bucket Protocol in LSDfi

Introduction:

The decentralized finance (DeFi) landscape is rapidly evolving, with innovative protocols and solutions emerging daily. One of the recent advancements is the Bucket Protocol, a groundbreaking borrowing service built on the Sui ecosystem. We are thrilled to invite developers to explore ways in which the Bucket Protocol can be leveraged within the LSDfi framework.

Bounty Description:

The objective of this bounty is to seamlessly integrate and leverage the Bucket Protocol's capabilities into the LSDfi ecosystem. Bucket offers collateralizing/borrowing/delegating SDKs among the bluechip assets on SUI like SUI/LSTs/wETH/stablecoins. We're particularly interested in solutions that enhance DeFi offerings, streamline user experiences, and create new opportunities for financial activities within LSDfi using the Bucket Protocol.

Key Tasks:

• Integration:
  • Create LSDfi by integrate Bucket Protocol’s collateralizing/borrowing features. or
  • Use BUCK (Bucket’s stablecoin) in your project.
• Usability:
  • Design user-friendly interfaces that promote easy borrowing within LSDfi through the Bucket Protocol.
  • Incorporate step-by-step guides, FAQs, and tooltips.
• Innovative Features:
  • Develop features that exploit Bucket’s capabilities to introduce novel financial tools or services within the LSDfi ecosystem. The minimum requirement is to integrate Bucket protocol’s smart contract
  • Consider areas such as flash loans, borrowing, and delegating BUCK in tank pools.
• Test & Deployment:
  • Conduct rigorous testing, including but not limited to security audits, performance tests, and user acceptance tests.
  • Provide a live demonstration on a testnet before final deployment.

Submission Requirements:

• A working prototype with a repository link on GitHub or similar platform.
  • A detailed documentation explaining:
  • The approach taken.
  • Challenges faced.
  • Solutions implemented.
  • Future recommendations.
• A 5-10 minutes video demonstration of the integrated solution.
• All code must be open-source and adhere to best coding practices.
• LSDfi deployed and live on mainnet leveraging Bucket SDK and smart contract. The protocol stays on mainnet and continue to operate upon grant is redeemed.

Judging Criteria:

• Innovation: How well does the solution leverage Bucket’s capabilities to provide unique offerings within LSDfi?
• Usability: How intuitive, efficient, and user-friendly is the developed solution?
• Security: Has the integration been done securely, with all necessary precautions and audits?
• Scalability: Can the solution handle increased user numbers and activities efficiently?
